1. Agreement
The ComputeBD website, dashboard and AI Computer service (the “Service”) are operated by ComputeBD (“we”). By creating an account, joining the waitlist or using the Service you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who may use it
Anyone aged 18 or over, or younger with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it to these Terms. The Service is in early access; opening an account is at our discretion.
3. Your account
Give accurate information and keep your password and sign-in codes private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person may not open several accounts (in particular to collect free credit or referral rewards). Tell us at once if you notice unauthorised use.
4. Wallet, prices and billing
- The Service is prepaid: top up your wallet (bKash) first, then run AI Computers. Balances are shown in Bangladeshi taka (৳).
- Sessions are billed by the minute, only while running, at the hourly price shown when you launch. Waiting and start-up time is not billed. Prices include service charges and applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- If you set an auto-stop limit when launching, the session stops when it reaches that cost. It also stops automatically if your wallet runs out. If you forget to stop a session, you are billed for the whole time it runs.
- Prices may change; a new price applies only to sessions started afterwards.
- Top-ups are non-refundable — wallet balance can only be spent on ComputeBD; it cannot be withdrawn to bKash or as cash, cannot be transferred and earns no interest. Details in the Refund Policy.
- Promo, referral and student credits are bonuses: not refundable, not exchangeable for cash, and they can be withdrawn if abused. Each offer’s own conditions (amount, limits, expiry) are shown with it.
- If we charge you because of our failure (for example a session that never started or could not run), we credit it back to your wallet.
5. Sessions and your files
- Sessions run on third-party cloud computers, usually outside Bangladesh. We do not guarantee that every AI Computer type is always available.
- Your notebooks (.ipynb) are saved automatically and come back in your next session. All other files in a session (downloaded models, generated images, outputs) are deleted when it stops. Download results, or keep them with “Save data”, before you stop.
- We take reasonable care, but keeping your own backups of important files is your responsibility.
- Ready-made notebooks and the open-source models they use are provided “as is”; you must follow each model’s own licence.
6. Your content
You own your code, data and results. You give us permission to use them only as needed to run the Service (storing them, copying them into your sessions, backups). You confirm you have the right to use that content and that it does not break the law or anyone’s rights.
7. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no unlawful activity, cryptocurrency mining, attacks on other systems, spam, harmful content or infringement of others’ rights.
8. Suspension and closing
We may stop sessions, or suspend or close an account, if these Terms are broken, if we see fraud or a security risk, or if the law requires — with notice unless it is urgent. You may close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]; unused balance is not paid out when an account is closed.
9. Service quality and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or any particular result. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months before it. Liability the law does not allow us to exclude is not affected.
10. Changes
We may change these Terms. We will announce important changes by email or on the dashboard at least 7 days in advance; continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. We will first try to settle any dispute by discussion; failing that, the competent courts of Dhaka will decide.
